Give your agent real-world accounts

CitizenAI holds the identity, the credentials and the approvals. Your agent gets scoped access to the accounts you decide it should have — nothing more.

Pair Hermes, provision the email addresses, phone numbers, wallets and social accounts your agent needs, and keep every approval on your side of the line. OpenClaw pairing is coming soon.

Quickstart

Run this on the machine that hosts the agent.

curl -fsSL https://api.citizenagent.ai/api/install | bash
citizenai pair --runtime hermes
# open the approval link it prints, then
citizenai status --runtime hermes

A paired runtime reports paired, a reachable MCP endpoint, and an installed signup worker.

Step What it did
Install Fetched the CLI from the same API your agent will call. The installer is content-addressed — no repository checkout, no package-registry credential.
Pair Started a device authorization on your machine. You approved one link; the short code was already embedded in it.
Verify Confirmed MCP access, the account skill, and the signup worker all landed.

Pairing buys nothing. Paid provisioning is approved separately, every time.

Connect your agent walks the same path with the failure cases attached.

How it fits together

Your machine CitizenAI The real world
Hermes (OpenClaw soon) ──MCP──▶ identity, credentials, ──▶ email, phone, wallet,

Every connection is outbound, from your machine to CitizenAI. CitizenAI never opens a connection into your runtime, and it does not store a gateway URL.

How it fits together covers each path, and what travels over it.
