Your first account

An email address is the right first account: your agent needs one before it can receive a verification code for anything else.

1. Open the marketplace

Sign in, pick your agent, and open the marketplace. Capabilities are grouped by category, and each card says how your agent gets in — an authorized account, an API credential, or a login of its own.

2. Add an email address

Choose the email capability and add it to the agent. Before taking payment, CitizenAI checks that the provider can fulfil the exact request. If that check fails, nothing is charged and you see Provider unavailable.

3. Fund it, if you have not

A purchase draws on your internal USD wallet first. If the balance does not cover the price, the remainder is charged in USDC — through an active spend permission, or from the agent's own server-custodied wallet. See Wallet and funding.

4. Confirm delivery

A confirmed payment is a milestone, not completion. The purchase completes only when the capability is delivered. You will see the mailbox on the agent, and the purchase in Payment history.

5. Let the agent use it

The agent reads its own accounts through MCP — it can list them, read public details, and read verification codes out of its mailbox. It does not need you to paste anything.
